Rooted in Faith, Growing Through Worship
The CANTA Project—Congregaciones Ayudando a Niños a ser Transformados en Adoradores—is a faith-rooted initiative of Convención Bautista Hispana de Texas dedicated to equipping Hispanic congregations and families to nurture children in worship and prayer.
Our Guiding Principles
Community Partnership
-
We listen first, acting as partners, not just providers.
-
Programs are planned and managed with local pastors, parents, and worship leaders.
-
We empower congregations and families to grow in faith and worship together.
-
Our goal is to build lasting spiritual and community capacity for the long term.
High-Impact
We focus on practical, proven solutions for nurturing children and families in worship.
Inspired by effective ministry models that maximize impact. We have met with Children’s pastors, educators, counselors, curriculum specialists, families, and children to design a program that is relevant to nurturing children in worship and prayer.
We have met with partners to provide access to existing resources that can help children know and worship God.
Empowering Congregations
CANTA works hand in hand with Hispanic congregations along the Texas–Mexico border, helping pastors, parents, and worship leaders cultivate Christ-centered communities.
Through collaboration with local churches and worship coaches, we strengthen the spiritual foundation of children and families in every congregation.
Our goal is to ensure that every child learns to worship, every family prays together, and every church grows in unity and purpose.
Churches are part of cohorts to help them design a strategy for reaching families and children and nurture them to know and worship God.
A Focus on Family and Faith
We believe worship begins at home — that strong families create strong churches.
CANTA equips parents and leaders with tools that help children experience God’s presence through song, prayer, and community.
Our programs inspire joy, creativity, and faith among young believers, building lifelong habits of worship and devotion.
Together, we’re creating a movement of faith that bridges generations and cultures, shaping a vibrant future for the Church.
Our Mission
The CANTA Project exists to support Hispanic congregations and families by providing Biblically-sound, bilingual resources that are culturally relevant and spiritually enriching. Through music, storytelling, and teaching, we equip pastors, parents, and worship leaders to create worship experiences where children feel seen, known, and connected to their God-given identity.
Our Vision
We envision a future where every Hispanic congregation along the Texas–Mexico border and beyond is empowered to cultivate vibrant worship communities. A place where children and families engage fully in faith, feel inspired to grow spiritually, and experience God’s love through accessible, meaningful worship.
